Ingredients

For the butter
  • 1 cup salted butter 2 sticks, softened
  • 1 tbsp honey
  • 1 tsp orange zest finely grated
  • 0.25 tsp ground cinnamon
For the toppings
  • 0.25 cup dried cranberries chopped
  • 0.25 cup pomegranate arils
  • 1 tsp fresh rosemary finely chopped
  • 0.25 tsp flaky sea salt
For serving
  • 1 baguette 12-ounce, sliced

Equipment

  • 1 electric mixer
  • 1 12-inch serving board

Method

Make the butter
  1. Beat the softened butter, honey, orange zest, and cinnamon in a medium bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed for 1 to 2 minutes, until smooth and fluffy.
Assemble the board
  1. Spread the butter in swoops over a 12-inch serving board, leaving some ridges for texture.
  2. Scatter the cranberries, pomegranate arils, rosemary, and flaky sea salt over the butter.
  3. Serve with the baguette slices; do not leave the butter board at room temperature for more than 2 hours.

Notes

For the fluffiest texture, serve the butter slightly softened. Refrigerate leftovers in an airtight container for up to 3 days; freezing is not recommended once assembled. A dairy-free butter alternative can be used if needed.
