Ingredients

For the filling
  • 2 cup cooked turkey finely chopped
  • 4 oz cream cheese softened
  • 0.33 cup whole-berry cranberry sauce
  • 0.75 cup sharp cheddar cheese shredded
  • 1 tsp Dijon mustard
  • 2 tbsp green onions thinly sliced
  • 0.25 tsp kosher salt
  • 0.13 tsp black pepper
For the ring
  • 2 can (8 oz) refrigerated crescent roll dough
  • 1 egg large, beaten

Equipment

  • 1 large baking sheet

Method

Make the filling
  1. In a medium bowl, stir together the turkey, cream cheese, cranberry sauce, cheddar, Dijon, green onions, salt, and pepper until evenly combined.
Shape the ring
  1. Heat the oven to 375°F.
  2. Line a large baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Separate the crescent dough into 16 triangles and arrange them in a circle on the baking sheet, with the wide ends overlapping near the center and the points facing outward.
  4. Spoon the filling in a ring over the overlapping wide ends, then fold the dough points over the filling and tuck them underneath the inner edge.
Bake and serve
  1. Brush the dough with the beaten egg.
  2. Bake for 25 to 30 minutes, until the dough is golden brown and cooked through.
  3. Let the ring rest for 10 minutes before slicing.

Notes

For clean slices, let the ring rest for the full 10 minutes before cutting. Refrigerate leftovers for 3 to 4 days; freeze for up to 2 months. For a gluten-free option, use gluten-free crescent dough if available.
